We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Maths Tutor, teaching across GCSE & Functional skills in a permanent, part time (22.2 hours per week) basis. * Pro Rata Salary £12,325.25 – £23,243.95.
As a Maths Tutor, you will provide supervision of your curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality and operational targets. You will deliver high quality, learner-focused education providing a secure and friendly environment in order for your students to succeed.
As a Maths Tutor you will also be expected to
Ensure Schemes of Learning, Lesson plans, Course Files and other supporting documentation are designed to enable learners to reach aspirational goals.
Attend and positively engage in college CPD and share good practice.
To participate in and support others in continual professional development activities to ensure skills and qualifications are in line with sector best practice.

In order to do this, you will need:
Must have a teaching / assessing (as appropriate) qualification and subject specialist qualification at
Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) qualification within a specified timescale.
English & Maths – must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2
A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivering in Mathematics.
