An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Manager based in Bolton. The principal purpose of this role is to create a learning environment based on Seddon's "Grow Your Own" philosophy from early careers and spotting talent to create learning experiences where everyone takes responsibility for their learning.
Main responsibilities:
Work closely with departments across the business to design learning and development interventions in line with business strategy.
Design initiatives that encourage ownership of careers and learning, providing a range of different options and digital resources.
Work alongside People Business Partners to identify and develop Seddon talent and ensure we create as many career defining experiences as possible.
Support the business in change management projects creating embedding experiences for those affected by the change.
Deliver an effective onboarding approach to ensure our people are having a great experience and are up to speed and feel valued for the get go.
Develop and deliver our early careers programmes that supports our "Grow Your Own" philosophy.
Work alongside the CSR Manager in creating programmes and initiatives which support our customers and supply chain.

Essential Skills
Experience or skills gained in coaching a variety of people.
Knowledge of the latest talent and learning trends but in practical terms not just theory.
Digitally savvy.
Enjoys delivering as part of a team.
An excellent relationship builder and communicator.
Sound L&D network to call upon and use as a critical friend.
Experience and knowledge of apprenticeships and degree apprenticeship programmes / standards.
Experience of working within the early career's environment.
Demonstrable experience in delivering key change projects in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to demonstrate significant achievement in delivering learning outcomes and success in L&D.
Desirable Skills
ILM Level 5 or 7 in Coaching & Mentoring would be a distinct advantage.
