Sep 2021 – Oct 2021 potential to be extended due to funding.
At Vision for Education, we always look to appoint talented Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant’s. Do you have knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and possess the skills to engage our youngest children in their Language and Communication, Physical and Personal, Social and Emotional Development This is a role is ideal for an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for their next opportunity. This particular role is located in a school in the Bury Area, the start date will commence in September, this position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
The role
The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will be capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff.
Have excellent communication skills, with a willingness to provide support across EYFS and Key Stage 1.
Be able to work across EYFS, Reception and lower Key Stage 1 unit.
Be able to support children with SEND within the school.
Support children’s holistic development through the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (e.g. physical, emotional, social, communication and intellectual development needs)
Able to provide stimulating and active literacy and numeracy activities.
Able to observe, monitor and report on learning and development.
Provide a safe environment where children have the confidence to learn through play effectively.

The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted and are currently working on targets to become outstanding. They have a desire to support by engaging children in play and lessons that are fun, active and engaging.
The school requires someone who is professional with the ability to adapt quickly and make excellent relationships.
Requirements
To be considered for Teaching Assistant (TA) positions, you must:
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject or recent Primary experience
Have experience supporting children with Early Years Foundation Stage children of all abilities.
SEN experience desirable
Be able to adapt to different routines daily
Have experience of the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum and phonics.
Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.
Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 15:30 Mon-Fri
