Support Worker – £10.00 ph
5 hours per day over 5 days per week – flexibility considered
Stockport
Our client requires a support worker to assist him five days a week. This will involve taking an active role in working with him to attend appointments, encourage mild exercise, accompanying him with shopping and collecting his medication, engaging in meaningful activities and liaising with appointed therapy professionals.
Working hours are available for those interested in part-time working, five days a week, five hours per day. Rate of pay will be £10.00 per hour. We are more than happy to have support workers who could cover 2-3 shifts per week, to provide flexibility between them in supporting our client fully.
Ideally we will require some level of flexibility in the hours worked, as there may be occasions when our client may want to go watch football later in the evening and will need accompanying. Having the flexibility of the support worker to change their hours, with adequate notice is desirable.
A private case manager is involved, working alongside the client and his family. A full induction training programme will be organised in order to familiarise the successful candidate with our client’s needs and complete training on his therapy programme.
