Student Record Management and Programme Management

To provide administrative support in the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of student records including using Campus Solutions and/or Discoverer/Power BI and/orEProg for:
Registration
Course Unit Selection and Course Unit Enrolment
Updating Course Unit Publishing Material
Projects/Dissertation submissions
Assessment and Progressions
Completions and Graduation
To be responsible for ensuring any changes to University, Faculty, School and Departmental policies are complied with and, in addition, providing efficient and effective communication to relevant staff and students of any changes.
Assist with the production and publication of programme documentation and other miscellaneous documentation. Update and ensure the accuracy of the published information and arrange for its distribution, where necessary.
To set up and maintain academic advisement rules and co-ordinate the implementation of any amendments to the programme or associated course units.
To liaise with colleagues in other Departments/Schools/Faculties to co-ordinate the use of shared teaching units, as necessary.
To proactively work with the programme team (involving liaison with honorary and non-University members) in co-ordinating teaching timetables, scheduling of assessments and examination board dates.
Maintain effective communication with all registered students e.g. informing of relevant events, new procedures, deadlines, etc. and assist with the co-ordination for ad hoc
To support the monitoring of student attendance and engagement in accordance with Department, School and University policy and guidelines and ensuring that accurate records are maintained. Liaising with the appropriate academic tutors/managers as necessary to ensure appropriate action is taken for students who are not meeting the requirements.
To work effectively with Programme Directors in the co-ordination of the programme, e.g. generating simple statistical data (relating to student numbers), to assist with the coordination of the programmes' annual review, periodic review and providing documentation for external accrediting bodies.
To co-ordinate the individual project or dissertation submission and assessment processes including (but not limited to) checking submissions, distributing marking schemes to markers, identifying projects/dissertations requiring moderation, ensuring the marks database is kept updated and providing information for Examination Boards, as relevant to the programme(s) you are supporting
To engage with the latest developments within Blackboard and use it for the management of student assignment and assessment marks and to liaise with the eLearning team regarding any student technical queries.
To set up assignment submission areas within Blackboard and co-ordinate download and distribution of assignment submissions to markers, as and when required.
To assist with the production of the Department's teaching timetables and ensure that all timetabling activities are published accurately in personalised timetables.
To assist with the payment of student stipends for scholarship students, if required.
To conduct census checks for Tier 4 visa holders and ensure that the Department meets the business and UKVI requirements.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
