Senior Software Programme Manager – Permanent

We are working with our UK based key account who have a brand new vacancy for a Senior Software Programme Manager to work remotely from home on a Full Time, Permanent basis. However, you will be expected to go on site for strategic/customer meetings on an ad-hoc basis. Their site is based in Stockport. Our client are a leading software company in engineering solutions throughout the Logistics Industry. They are market leaders in the delivery of business critical software systems.

Senior Software Programme Manager Responsibilities:

You will be expected to work together with our clients' end customer, translating their operational requirements into a solution that can be effectively delivered using their proven product set.
SW Product that our client use is an Automation Software that goes into warehouses and sits on a robot. It instructs the robot to pick products off of shelves in the warehouse and then packages these items for our client's customers.
You will hold responsibility for the commercial and functional aspects of the solution delivered to our client's end customer.
Projects typically involve trips to the end customer's site, and potentially periods on site during the critical project stages.

Senior Software Programme Manager Requirements:

Experience of managing an engineering project – software biased project (electronics software – not IT).
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel
Driving licence.
