Senior Domiciliary Care Workers – Gorton North / Gorton South/ Levenshulme
As this is a mobile role, you must hold a full UK driving license and have unrestricted access to a vehicle.

Due to continued business growth , Medacs Healthcare are looking to recruit experienced Domiciliary Home Care Workers, who are looking to advance their career in Health & Social Care and to utilise their skill set, to join our ever expanding team of professional and committed Home Carers, who provide person centred support for the elderly and vulnerable in our communities.
Duties would include:-
Guaranteed 20 hours of care delivery per week/ 20 hours Senior care
Ongoing support for our new Care Workers working in the community for example, helping with moving & handling, medication etc.
Visiting Service User's in their own homes, collecting documentation, reviewing new care packages and ensuring they are completely satisfied with Medacs Healthcare services.
Distributing PPE, holiday forms, daily support records etc to the Care Workers in the community.
Spot checking Care Workers.
Shadowing new Care Workers who have just completed their training and offering ongoing support as and when required.
Reporting all findings to the Management Team.
Supporting the day time office staff and the Out Of Hours team in the hands on delivery of care as and when required to ensure the needs of our Service User's are met.The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving license and have unrestricted access to a vehicle, ideally, a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care, a minimum of 2 years care experience and a professional, caring and compassionate nature and be an excellent team player but have the ability to work on your own initiative. You must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ideally, have experience in shadowing/mentoring Care Workers.
Shift patterns are 07.00 to 14.00 and 15.30 to 22.30 (you may work a mixture of both if desired) with alternate weekend's. You must be flexible and be available to work a mixture of both shift patterns.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided, free uniforms, a free, fully enhanced DBS and instant enrolment in the company pension scheme.
