Sales Administrator (Engineering)

Holroyd Precision Components has a newly formed position for a Sales Coordinator working within an experienced, friendly engineering team. You will be an integral member of the department and make a significant contribution to achieving the Team’s order targets through effective order processing and customer liaison.
Sales Administrator (Engineering) Responsibilities:
Initially you will process incoming orders and respond to enquiries with the support of the engineers however, as you develop a greater understanding of our product range and manufacturing capability, you will be given greater autonomy to contact customers direct to discuss their requirements and promote sales initiatives.
Sales Administrator (Engineering) Requirements:
To meet the requirements of this role, you need to have an understanding of precision engineered components and the order-to-shipping process for a business operating in a global market. The team will be relying on you to maintain the department’s systems and databases in an organised and consistent fashion, ensuring drawings and specifications are correctly filed and all orders are processed promptly.
Pulling from your excellent communication skills, you’ll be the conduit between customer, production, and courier, making sure all parties are kept up to date with order progress and delivery.
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience of using an MRP system.
If you have desire to learn and possess good customer liaison skills, we’ll provide you with the opportunity to develop and progress to a more customer-facing role, playing a greater part in our business development strategy.

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester (Closely located to Metro links and Junction 21 of the M62)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37-hour week with a 11.45am finish on a Friday
Salary: 25,000
