Regional Continuous Improvement Manager

We have been instructed to find an Regional Continuous Improvement Manager for our client based in Lancashire.

With a background in 6 Sigma, the Regional Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for managing business critical quality systems and processes with the main objective of driving quality across two manufacturing sites in the North West and to reduce customer complaints.

The Company manufacturers packaging products for blue chip FMCG companies all over the UK ranging from high end packaging designs to functional boxes for distribution.

Key objectives and outcomes….

Complaint analysis by machine and category.
Establish the effectiveness of calibration processes and deliver the changes with engineering.
Establish the PM tasks are effective and why?  Deliver the changes with engineering.
DOE (Design of Experiments) on product quality with machine speeds.  Suggest changes.
Develop a 100% QC inspection system with suppliers to eliminate all rejects to customers.
Develop the Quality investment strategy for the next 10 years. The ideal candidate would be….

6 sigma black belt qualified and have experience in driving quality standards and reducing customer complaints.
An engineering back ground would also help with understanding of the manufacturing process.
A strong focus on quality and working alongside department heads to facilitate sustained improvements.
