Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: Prestwich, Manchester
Reward: £40,000 (up to £50,000 depending on experience), company pension & 25 days holiday
The Northhold Group is a well-established property development group that established an in-house construction company (ABGi Construction Ltd) in 2017 to deliver design and build projects.
We are expanding rapidly with multiple projects of different sizes and complexities across the UK including residential, retail and mixed use, both new build and refurbishment.
Our list of clients includes blue chip retailers such as the Co-op, Tesco, Costa Coffee and Travelodge.
With a strong pipeline of projects ahead we are now looking to expand our commercial function and are seeking a hands-on Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Responsibilities of the Contractor’s Quantity Surveyor:
The role will involve the preparation of bills of quantities, sub-contract enquires & evaluation, preparation of subcontract agreements, and management of subcontract accounts. You will also be working with the operational team to review and monitor expenditure, internal cost reporting, and client liaison.
The role will suit an adaptable and ambitious self-starter who is comfortable working across multiple projects, able to manage changing priorities, and can deal effectively with prospective tenants, builders, developers and investors.
You may be an experienced QS, or be looking to make your first move into this role, either way you will benefit from working in a fast growing business with a wide range of experiences.
The role is based at our head office in Prestwich, Manchester with travel required to multiple sites across the UK.
