Sentri Group are currently working alongside an established family run regional contractor based in the Northwest who are looking to appoint a Pre-Construction and Design Manager.
Privately owned, multi award winning construction and integrated support services business sitting at the heart of the Group. They acquire, design, build and maintain buildings and businesses within the early years, elderly care, residential & retail sectors.
Candidates should be able to lead the procurement teams to deliver profitable, de-risked, winning bids on time and to the highest quality whilst maintaining external relationships.
Key Responsibilities
As a Pre-Construction Design Manager your role will be key to planned and sustained business growth through the production of client focused bid proposals within our core markets across the UK.
This role will focus on leading and owning the Design management process and working collaboratively with our pre-construction and operational teams.
As an integral member of our team, you will coordinate and manage the production of high-quality design information from inception through to final submission, taking ownership of the process, design programme and documentation.
You will need to ensure the management and production of all design information, whilst attending and hosting pre-tender and post tender design team meetings.
You will have a demonstrable track record in Pre-Construction Design Manager role within a main contractor environment, and astute commercial and technical skills, along with the enthusiasm and efficiency to make a positive contribution to multi-disciplined, integrated project teams and to the wider business.
