Established over 20 years ago, our client are one of the market leaders within multi utility asset adoption, and are looking to utilise this momentum to push into one of the fastest-growing sectors in the UK today. They are looking for an independent Project Manager to join their team based in the North, working remotely and engaging in site visits across the surrounding area.
Key Requirements of the Operations Engineer:
Participate in Safety Technical and Competency (STC) reviews of new and existing UIPs/ICPs and Contractors
Assist with UIP SCO compliance including CP and AE duties as required
Provide assurance that assets being designed, installed, tested and commissioned are fit for business purpose, complying with Industry/Regulatory and Legislative Standards and requirements
Ensuring that service provider Health and Safety requirements are suitable, sufficient and implemented
Assist in maintaining current accreditations, qualification of new accreditations and industry compliance for all assets
Skilled in establishing and managing relationships with customers and stakeholders
Knowledge of NRSWA
Knowledge of Wayleave, Easement and Land Transfer requirements and negotiations
Strong organisational skills Qualifications of the Operations Engineer:
Knowledge and experience of working in gas/electricity distribution networks including design, construction, operations and maintenance
Demonstrate several years’ experience in the gas/electric distribution business
