Office Manager – Manchester – £30,000
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join our clients rapidly growing B2B marketing and communications agency located in the heart of Manchester.
This diverse and flexible role would be suitable for part-time (at least 3 days per week) or full-time. Currently our client operates a hybrid approach to office working e.g. partly remote and party office based, and would like you to work at least one day per week in the office (subject to social distancing guidelines).
As Office Manager, you will provide vital administrative support across the teams and core services, including planning social events and managing workplace initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills within an additional capability area (marketing, social media, HR or IT), according to your own experience and interests.
Office Manager Activities:
* General and diverse office management duties – managing mail, purchases (including office and home office supplies, working with current and new suppliers),
* Purchasing IT equipment and IT setu
* Responding to general phone and email queries
* HR administrative assistance – employee documentation and support with reviewing CVs; assisting with ongoing staff wellbeing/social initiatives and policies
* Social activities assistance – planning and executing company parties and events
* Internal communications support, including writing and sharing company updates
Our ideal Office Manager:
* At least two years’ business experience, ideally in marketing but not essential
* Able to work in a self-organised and independent manner
* Confident in relationship building – dealing with new and existing suppliers etc
* Multi tasking
* Using own initiative
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Fast learner that can adapt to new processes and unexpected challenges
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Adept at using standard office software (eg Microsoft, Apple and Google-based packages)
* Good time management
