Job Overview
Work as Clinical Nurse Manager / Deputy within a complex nursing service in Leigh, Lancashire. You will be working within a 30 bed specialist care service for adults with moderate to complex care needs, including but not limited to: Neuro-disability, Brain injury & stroke, Mental ill-health, Physical disability & Huntington's Disease.
The Clinical Nurse Manager plays a key part in the daily running of the service, working closely with the management team, ensuring that the service runs effectively and efficiently and that the care provided is of the highest quality
Excellent leadership skills are essential for this role as you will be visible on the unit throughout the working day, observing, monitoring and advising the qualified staff on duty, providing feedback on good practice and creating a learning culture.
You will also monitor staff performance against policy and embed clinical supervisions.
To apply for this new Clinical Manager role, we are looking for a Registered Nurse with experience working in a supervisory role. You must have a strong clinical background and be able to drive the nursing team to success.
This is a full time, permanent position and will include working 2 x 12 hour shifts on the floor with the rest of your 40 hour week being supernumery, 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm. The salary is up to £40,000 plus excellent training and development opportunities to progress within the organisation.
