Mobile Plant Fitter / Mechanical Engineer Vacancy
Location: North West – Depot – Stockport
Salary £30K-£35K
Monday to Friday
My client is a market leader in the Plant Hire and Construction industry who have built a nationwide network due to their expertise and their ability to offer a full range of services including servicing, parts, support and sales.
Being a Mobile Plant Mechanic/ Technician and an essential member of the team, your remit will be to ensure that all Plant is maintained to a high standard. Making sure that all routine servicing and repairs are carried efficiently and in a cost effective manner.
A typical day could include;
Repairing Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems
Completing work to satisfactory safety regulations
Machinery Inspections/ Fault Finding
Preventative Maintenance Inspections
Performs Service calls on emergency breakdowns
Adjusting procedures to meet production schedules
You will be working on Earth movers, Diggers, Dump Trucks, Excavators Conveyors, Generators, pulleys, shafts, bearings and mobile plant equipment.
If you have experience of doing this role or working on similar plant like JCB, John Deere etc you would be highly suitable for the role.
