A large primary school in Wigan has approached Hays seeking a Y5 Teacher from May half term until summer

This primary school is based in Wigan with a GOOD OFSTED rating and due to an unforeseen absence the school has recently approached Hays seeking a Year 5 Teacher to start after May half term and continue until the end of academic year. Reporting into the Headteacher, you will be fully supported by both SLT and colleagues and will become an integral part of this successful team.
Your new role
Joining the school following May half term, you will be responsible for teaching a class of 25 pupils, with full responsibility for the development and progression of all pupils with support from 2 classroom teaching assistants. You will plan and prepare lessons, deliver these creating a positive learning environment and you will then complete the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils work.
What you'll need to succeed
To successfully secure this role you must possess Qualified Teacher Status or be a Newly Qualified Teacher. You will have experience teaching in the UK curriculum across KS2, ideally having taught a Year 5 class previously. You will be flexible and adaptable able to quickly build relationships with your pupils and colleagues alike.
