The client is an award-winning Fire Engineering specialist and has delivered challenging projects nationally and overseas across multiple sectors. They continue to grow and guarantee structured career paths, support and encouragement towards registration with the Engineering Council and Chartered Status.

The role:

In this client facing role you will lead projects as the Project Engineer with support from the senior member of the project team/Project Manager on small to medium scale projects. Conduct effective project management, execute fee proposals from start to finish and work closely with senior engineers.
Undertake RIBA Stage 4 and 5 work packages as well as site surveys of existing buildings with support from senior members of staff. This would include; but not limited to, reviewing technical packages from other subcontractors, supporting construction projects by implementing the fire strategy, attend site to review installed active and passive fire safety systems and undertake active and passive fire safety surveys on existing buildings.
With a sound knowledge base in fire design and engineering you will undertake fire strategies and technical engineering reports for all buildings uses.

Qualifications/Memberships:                                                                                                                

Degree in Fire Engineering or industry related equivalent
Hold professional Fire Engineering related memberships
Working towards Chartered status Experience:

2- 5 years’ experience working across different sectors
Recent UK Fire Engineering Consultancy experience
Able to manage projects with little to no support
Working with clients independently
Strong knowledge of fire safety/analysis and strategies
Expert knowledge of British Standards and Regulations
Strong reporting writing skills
Ambition to progress and grow while maintaining a positive work ethic
