Finance Analyst

Job Overview

At N Brown, we are looking for a Finance Analyst to manage the production of monthly management accounts within our Financial Services division. You will enjoy interpreting and managing commercial and financial data and be confident in providing insight and solutions that will directly influence strategic decisions within our business.

As a Finance Analyst at N Brown, your responsibilities will include:

Month end process: including the completion and creation of management accounts, validation and calculations of accruals and prepayments, posting of journals, balance sheet reconciliations and presentation of management accounts. 
Financial reporting: providing quality financial analysis and insight into the performance of the business.
Continuous improvement: contributing to the continued development of FS Finance Reporting Tools, with specific focus on identifying opportunities to improve/simplify/automate reports and processes to drive efficiencies.
Business Partnering: ensuring all stakeholders understand their responsibilities for the overall financial goals of their division and the business, embedding commercial mind-set and governance. 
Ad hoc tasks: analysis and provision of financial advice as required to support Finance Team, decision-making, and monitoring of financial performance. 
Key Metrics: Focus on KPI delivery and reporting.
At N Brown, we are looking for a Finance Analyst who has the following skills and experiences: 

Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or similar numerate training/background Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject. 
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 
High standards of accuracy, precision, and data integrity. 
Able to operate in quickly changing environments whilst being well organized, pro-active and deadline driven. 
Data driven, analytical and curious mindset, with strong commercial acumen. 
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex analysis in concise and meaningful way.
