Employment Solicitor – Respondent | Salary Negotiable | Manchester
My client is a legal 500 and chambers ranked practice based in heart of Manchester. They are a multi-disciplined practice with 2 offices in the North and one in London.
Duties & Responsibilities
The work will involve providing advice and support on all aspects of employment law and will be contentious in nature.
The work will be varied and will include advising on disciplinary, capacity and grievance action, restructure and redundancy exercise, settlement agreements as well as Employment Tribunal cases.
The post holder will also assist senior members of the team on large complex matters, as well as providing support to their corporate immigration team.The firm is looking for a proactive Employment Solicitor with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships with a strong commercial mind set. Ideally, they are looking for someone who can manage their own caseload with light supervision.
Candidates should ideally have 3-7 years PQE in employment law. However, applications will be considered from newly qualified solicitors if they have undertaken a seat within employment law.
The post holder will also fully participate in aspects of the team's business development initiatives including seminars, workshops, on-line development and bulletins.
