Job Overview

We’re recruiting for an E-commerce Manager to work in a growing and ambitious online business based in Manchester but trading across the globe. As the E-commerce Manager, you will have full management responsibility for online trading with a clear opportunity to develop international online markets. Working closely with an external web development team and the agencies you will oversee changes in design and content ensuring a seamless customer journey and optimised conversion rates.

The e-commerce campaigns will reflect this, and quality will be at the heart of what drives the content. This role requires an organised, driven and hardworking individual with an analytical eye. This role demands a team player who is eager to learn and develop in a very agile and ambitious business. Improving user experience and conversion optimization will be at the heart of all decision making in this role.

Responsibilities

* Plan and execute the UX strategy along with effective management of an external agency development team

* Ensure site upgrades are actioned quickly, on budget and with minimal disruption to the business

* Plan and execute the UX, A/B & MVT testing strategy via Google Optimize

* Plan and execute the Search Engine Optimisation – ensuring the best possible organic search performance, including technical and keyword updates.

* Work closely with the relevant trading / creative teams

* Assist with reporting and analytics – sharing customer-focused knowledge to the wider business

* Manage the weekly/periodic content updates – ensuring they are delivered on time and in line with the marketing/sales calendar

* Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance

Requirements

* Google Analytics & Google Optimize experience

* 3+ years digital marketing experience

* Problem solving aptitude, attention to detail and strong organisational capability

* Experience working with web developers

* Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce sites would be a definite advantage

* Bachelor's (Preferred)
