Job Overview

E-Learning Developer – North West – 24 Month FTC – £34,804 Harvey Nash are proud to work with a fantastic client based in the North West, who are growing at a rapid pace and currently progressing through a large-scale digital transformation. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced E-Learning Developer on a 24 month FTC basis. The successful E-Learning Developer will have the below responsibilities: * Work with colleagues and subject matter experts, carrying out learning needs analysis and identifying any training needs * Design and develop interactive resources using pedagogic and technical knowledge * Evaluate impact and effectiveness of online and blended materials * Designing and delivering training interventions to support staff, and where appropriate, eventually producing some of their own e-learning resources * Working closely with the institutional VLE and other platforms and tools such as digital simulation facilities. * To liaise with key staff across the wider organisation to support student use of the VLE and related technologies, identifying and resolving problems for users. * Sourcing and making use of external materials where possible To be successful in this E-Learning Developer role, you will need to have the below skills/experience: * Good working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline) * Knowledge of instructional design and pedagogic principals * Understanding of curriculum design * Experience of working of Virtual Learning Environments (e.g. Moodle) * Extensive experience of working with subject matter experts to design and create e-learning, preferably in a Higher Education context * Proven knowledge and experience of designing and delivering training to staff and colleagues on the best use of technology in learning If you are a motivated E-Learning Developer who would relish the opportunity to be part of this organisations fast-paced growth and Digital Transformation, then I would like to hear from you.
