Job Overview
Domestic Appliance Engineer / Cooker Engineer required for our client, a specialist service provider, who carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a range of high end / bespoke domestic kitchen appliances such as ovens and grills.
The Appliance Engineer will be predominately covering from Derby to the M62 corridor (although some further travel / nights away may also be required). The Engineer will be carrying out service and repair works on domestic cooking appliances, within private homes on bespoke equipment, typically £4,000+ in value. The Appliance Engineer MUST hold their CKR1 gas qualification as a minimum and be willing to travel and stay away overnight when required (sometimes up to a week at a time).
The client will provide specialist training, to work on the specific ovens they deal with. The client will also provide a new Mercedes Vito van and if required to stay away, will provide overnight pay / allowances also.

CKR1 Gas qualification
Based between Derby and the M62 corridor
Previous experience carrying out service and repair of domestic cookers
Full UK driving license
Must be willing to travel and stay away if required
Domestic Appliance Engineer – North Position Remuneration
£28,000 basic salary (OTE Circa £33k – £35k)
Up to £1200 annual bonus
Door to door travel paid
Overtime available
No mandatory call out / out of hours work
