Customer Service Advisor – RAC

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Inbound Customer Service Advisor role working for the RAC based in the Stretford Area. The RAC is one of the UK’s biggest and most well-recognised companies operating in the Motoring industry. Their office in Stretford is ideally located for workers who commute by both public and private transport, thank to its large, free on-site parking, as well as it’s proximity to both a bus and tram stop which has regular links to Manchester City Centre.


We are currently working for an inbound advisor to work on the Breakdown department for the RAC. This is a fast paced role where you will be speaking to existing members of the RAC who have a broken down vehicle and are now looking for support and assistance. The daily duties of this position are as follows:

-Answering inbound calls from existing RAC members

-Answering any customer questions and providing high levels of customer service

-Taking details regarding the vehicle breakdown and passing these to the internal despatch team

-Entering vital details into the RAC system

-Keeping the customer updated at all times

Further Details:

-£8.72 per hour

-Must be flexible Monday to Sunday from 6am-11.30pm

-3 week advanced rota

-2 full weeks of training

-Stretford based

-Free parking

-Previous customer service experience (essential)

-Excellent timekeeping and punctuality (essential)

-Excellent communication skills (essential)

-Professional telephone manner (essential)

-Call centre experience (useful)
