Our client is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to secure new business opportunities and further establish their brand. Our client is a privately owned Freight Forwarder and are looking to continue their growth with the addition of a Business Development Manager based from their Manchester office focusing on Air and Ocean services.
The role will require management of an active sales pipeline focusing on opportunities across the North West. You will be required to identify, develop and secure new opportunities within Air and Sea Freight. The right person will have sales experience within those areas and be able to provide solutions to clients through their knowledge of logistics. As well as generating revenue through new customers; the BDM will monitor key accounts to establish any further opportunities for growth.
The right candidate will have a hunter mentality; self motivated and driven. They will be able to work in a fast paced and pressured environment; a confident communicator and passionate about their work. The role will be based in the Manchester Office but at present due to COVID will be working from home.
The opportunity is part of the companies continued growth and they can offer long term opportunities to the right candidate. On offer is a salary of £35,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience with additional opportunity to earn which is uncapped. Additionally you will receive a company car, laptop, mobile and a generous holidays allowance
