We are working exclusively with a fast-growing Accountancy Practice, who provide outsourced finance support to SMEs in the North West, providing their clients with the peace of mind that their finances are well taken care of.
They are offering an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their expanding team.
This role will appeal to someone who is looking for variety in their working week, you will be attending client’s businesses part of the week being their eyes and ears within Accounts, then managing and mentoring the team for the other part, whilst getting involved to ensure the business is moving forward in an efficient manner.
Key Points for the Account Manager
You will be responsible for all Bookkeeping and Payroll services offered to all your clients
Reviewing & reconciling VAT returns
Reconciling CIS returns
Posting and reconciling payroll journals
Reconciling finance accounts such as invoice discounting/hire purchase
Dealing with queries from clients relating to financing/tender applications
Managing the existing freelancers and employees, supporting where required
Implementing new policies
Sales & Marketing
Helping and sharing ideas on the build of the new company websiteDesired Skills and Experience
Bookkeeping – internal or practice
Demonstrate Management/Supervisory experience
Xero system knowledge is essential
Quickbooks, Brightpay & Receipt Bank desirableYou MUST be a strong communicator, a natural leader with an approachable & friendly manner to build long lasting client relationships, and a pro-active mind-set to create new business.
There will be two weeks training on-site with the Owner of the business, in who you will work closely with. Driver is essential for this position to work on-site with clients across the Greater Manchester, Stockport and Warrington area.
£23,000 – £28,000 depending on your experience and a 4-day week can be considered for the right candidate, mileage and parking costs at clients will be covered if required
