Area Sales Manager – North West

We are currently looking to recruit a Area Sales Manager. You will oversee the day to day management of the AFI Sales team in the North West, guiding and advising the Field Sales Team on how to best manage their time and drive sales.
The role in brief:
–Your responsibilities will include providing high quality commercial support to the Field Sales Team and customers, helping to develop existing accounts and bringing in new business.
–Weekly monitoring and setting of pricing targets.
–Managing, motivating and developing the Field Sales Team to achieve their sales goals.
–Travelling around the North West to oversee the Sales Team and visit customer sites.
–Participation in the tender process for large National Customers.
The ideal candidate:
–You will have a proven track record of field-sales success in a hire environment, ideally powered access sales.
–Previous experience in a senior sales position, involving managing a sales team is essential.
–You should be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate, mentor and inspire a team.
–This is a challenging position which will require you to have a mature and outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
–You must be able to demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to your work.
–You should be well-organised, used to prioritising tasks and be able to work well under pressure.
–Comprehensive training on AFI’s product ranges and services will be given.
